It all started in my little backyard shed in the summer of 2008. When my girlfriends came to visit, they insisted that the 10 rough-looking, first attempt, clay pendants I recently made, were "adorable!”
Thank goodness for those crazy girls and their encouragement because a new adventure was born that day. I recently moved my backyard business in to a “big girl” studio. What a difference more space can make! I now have a lot of room to work with my clay and spread out my creative clutter. It is...fabulous! Cheryl Stevens Studio may be based out of a tiny town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but my handcrafted clay jewelry and whimsies can be found in amazing shops across the country.
What a happy life!
